  • HistoSkin FFPE skin tissue sections offer versatile compatibility with a broad spectrum of staining techniques and antibodies, provided they are suitable for formalin fixation and paraffin embedding processes. These sections serve as invaluable tools for in-depth exploration of human skin histology, biomarker analysis, immunofluorescence, immunostaining, and investigation into the expression and distribution patterns of epidermal and dermal markers within human skin samples.

Please note that HistoSkin is prepared with skin tissue obtained with the informed consent of donors in compliance with the Declaration of Helsinki and all other applicable regulations.

Every order contains:

  • The ordered amount of HistoSkin Skin Block placed in a dedicated container.
  • A QA/QC lot release certificate with donor information (age, gender, skin type, anatomical site).

Donor restrictions:

Donors can be male or female, from age 18-90, and of any phototype. However, please note that the large majority of the donors are female (90%), aged between 30 and 50 (60%), with a 2-3 phototype (90%).

Multiple donors:

Genoskin’s network of hospitals and surgeons allows us to access many skin tissues per week and to provide you with FFPE skin blocks from multiple donors.

Delivery:

HistoSkin is packed in shock-resistant packaging that can be shipped by express airfreight.

While ordering, you will be able to select a preferred week of delivery.

Note that HistoSkin may arrive at your facility from Wednesday to Friday. The expected delivery day will be communicated at least 48 hours in advance to your team.
