Our FFPE Skin Slides undergo a precise and standardized formalin fixation process, ensuring optimal tissue preservation. This allows for accurate representation of cellular structures, making them ideal for detailed histopathological examination.

Please note that HistoSkin is prepared with skin tissue obtained with the informed consent of donors in compliance with the Declaration of Helsinki and all other applicable regulations.

Every order contains:

  • A QA/QC lot release certificate with donor  information (age, gender, skin type, anatomical site).
  • The ordered amount of skin sections. Please note that for HistoSkin, one unit refers to one slide presenting one FFPE skin section.

Donor restrictions:

Donors can be male or female, from age 18-90, and of any phototype. However, please note that the large majority of the donors are female (90%), aged between 30 and 50 (60%), with a 2-3 phototype (90%).

Minimum order:

HistoSkin can only be purchased with a minimum order of 5 skin slides.

Multiple donors:

Genoskin’s network of hospitals and surgeons allows us to access many skin tissues per week and to provide you with FFPE skin slides from multiple donors.

Delivery:

HistoSkin is packed in shock-resistant packaging that can be shipped by express airfreight.

While ordering, you will be able to select a preferred week of delivery.

Note that HistoSkin may arrive at your facility from Wednesday to Friday. The expected delivery day will be communicated at least 48 hours in advance to your team.
